JAKARTA. Property growth in the West corridor of Jakarta has experienced significant development along with the presence of a new satelite city. With the increasing number of property developments in the region, it is expected to be able to reduce the number of housing needs (backlog) in Indonesia. Property observer and Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Property Watch Ali Tranghanda explained, property development in West Jakarta is very high. The high price of land in the capital city is the main factor for urban people to buy property in West Jakarta.

"This is because the development of the city and the level of demand in the region are still quite high. Plus the price of land in Jakarta is already expensive," Ali said in his statement, Thursday (13/7).
